Partners in Christ,

Its hard to believe that our home assignment is half-over. We’ve been able to visit many ministry partners in the U.S., but we’ve also stayed busy with everything that is going on in the Southern Cone. Here’s what’s happening:

  1. We are assessing 9 new church-planter couples who will launch new churches in Southern Brazil. Each of these couples will be planting churches in least-reached communities. Just think about it — a people and place with no gospel witness will now have an opportunity to meet, know, and follow Jesus.

  2. We finished the production of our online training center for Church Planters in Portuguese. This includes over 300 pages of content, dozens of videos, and a cohort-mentor component to help accelerate collaborative learning. It launches this month!

  3. We finalized the plans for our 15 leadership development workshops that will happen in Southern Brazil and Uruguay over the next 12 months.

There is so much more that is going on, and we are so glad that we have a team on the ground making things happen. As our ministry partner, you are helping people throughout the Southern Cone meet, know, and follow Jesus. Thank you!

  • Our two older boys, Samuel and Jesse, as they prepare to remain in the U.S. when we return to Brazil in the summer.

  • The 9 couples launching 9 new churches in Southern Brazil by July 2024.

  • The 6 leadership workshops  for pastors in Brazil and Uruguay over the next 3 months.
