A New Year

On Sunday, we began the new year thinking through our church mission statement in the 9:30 am bible study.  Let's make plans and have goals to meet in 2026 as we serve the Lord together. 

• How did you serve in 2025?

• What are your plans for serving in 2026?

• Do you have a dream, a vision for something -- maybe this is the year to begin putting that idea into action!

We need goals, ideas, hopes and dreams. A new year is a good time to start those. As we continue to reach out to the community more and more will find out they want to attend worship here and we will need more and more space. The more we focus on assisting those who are in need we will need:

1. People to help set budgets and steer spending.
2. Facilities and Logistics to streamline our efforts.
3. Programs and volunteers to help people with: Food Distributions, Addictions, Abuse, Family building, Grief Counseling, etc.
4. The more we reach the unsaved the more help we will need from mature believers to disciple these new Christians.
5. The more we reach the unchurched the more help we will need with things like: parking, greeting, seating, smiling! :-)

I know that the more we purpose to come here every service to worship together, the more you will enjoy being here and will look forward to coming back. The more you will be fulfilled in Christ - He inhabits praise. The more others will realize something is different here. We will need more singers and musicians. We will need more ushers and helpers with the media. And these are just some of my thoughts — What is your vision for our church? Which of these areas seem attractive to you?

Commit yourself to do something this year. Where there is no vision...people perish. Who will perish if you do nothing? A vision is just a dream...a goal or a plan. To become more than that it must be developed. Some of you have been called to lead in some of these areas. I challenge you to do so.
