The content of the Athanasian Creed stresses the affirmation of the Trinity in which all members of the Godhead are considered uncreated and co-eternal and of the same substance. With exception (Christian for Catholic) the orthodox doctrines of the Trinity and the incarnation in this creed are affirmed by virtually every historic Protestant church.
